Geoffrey Notkin is the co-host of the Meteorite Men TV series, a science writer, television host, meteorite specialist, and photographer. He was born in New Yorkâs East Village, grew up in London, England, and now makes his home in the Sonoran Desert in southern Arizona. He studied geology, photography, and design in London, Boston and New York and s the owner of Aerolite Meteorites of Tucsonâa featured exhibitor at the annual Tucson gem and mineral shows.
Geoffrey has written more than 100 published articles on meteoritics, paleontology, astronomy, adventure travel, history, and the arts, and his work has appeared in Astronomy, The Explorer's Club Journal, Sky & Telescope, Wired, Readerâs Digest, The Village Voice, Seed, Rock & Gem, Geotimes, Meteorite magazine, The Field Guide to Meteors and Meteorites, Meteoryt (Poland), Mechanical Engineering, American Theater Arts, Mushroom (Germany), New York Press, The New York Sun, The Arizona Star, Tucson Weekly and many other national and international publications. He is the author of Meteorwritings, a featured science column on Geology.com, and writes a daily science blog, The Logical Lizard, for TucsonCitizen.com
