Howard Getson

Bio

Howard Getson, 45, is the President of Capitalogix, Inc., a company he founded in 2000. Capitalogix builds automated trading systems and portfolio construction tools for hedge funds. He was the principal founder and CEO of the IntellAgent Control Corporation of Dallas, which was a software company. IntellAgent Control was listed as one of the country's fastest growing companies by Inc. magazine and won numerous awards for its fast growth and quality business solutions. He was associated with IntellAgent Control from April 1991 to January 2000. Before forming IntellAgent Control, Mr. Getson had an active corporate legal practice from June 1987 to May 1993. Mr. Getson served on the Global Board of Directors for the Entrepreneurs' Organization ("EO") in Dallas. He also has served on the EO International Board of Directors from 2001 to 2004. He is a popular and frequent speaker to executive audiences on strategic planning and gaining a competitive advantage. He also serves as advisor for a select number of other companies. Mr. Getson has an undergraduate degree in psychology and philosophy from Duke University in 1984, and received a Juris Doctorate law degree and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University in 1987.
