Librarian by day, history ebook writer by night, married, father of two. I recently started up a website and blog called "History In An Hour"(.com) and so far have uploaded two ebooks for sale: The Second World War In An Hour, and The Cold War In An Hour - both available from Smashwords. Soon to upload The Rise of Nazism In An Hour. Next one will be the Russian Revolution. The concept is that it's all there - in a straight, narrative, chronological order. No embedded links to divert the attention, nor a daunting book of 600 pages with a 35-page introduction. Just straight in, to the point, sixty minutes, done. I write an article or two per week for the blog, and occasionally write articles for the History Times website. And I have a business partner who's developing the series as an iphone app. I work in public library in London, in which I run a book group and organise writing workshops, and author and poetry events. I have a son (soon to be a teenager), fanatical about Chelsea football club); and a five-year-old daughter who sings and dances continuously. It's lovely.... BUT!
