Holly Gaskin

Bio

I grew on on Long Island, NY, mostly in Mattituck, some in Greenport, and for a short time in East Quogue. I started writing poetry in second grade, and by the time I was in fourth, I was filling notebooks with long short stories as well. I started playing DJ as soon as I got my first tape recorder at age 9.I worked at WLNG in Sag Harbor for 10-plus years, interning right out of high school. From 2001- present, I've worked at WFRY in Watertown, NY. I am the author of 2 suspense/ thrillers, A Little Company and Tricked, and a memoir, Finding My Father: A Search For the Truth in the Face of Alzheimer's. I have been married since 2004 to Pieter Gaskin, a musician, luthier and storyteller. Our DBA is "Woods and Words." We hit the authors' fairs and craft fair circuit as often as we can. Projects I'm currently working on include The Hungry Monster and The Dragonfly Club.
