For the last 2 years we have been working with regional tourist boards in the development of iVisitorGuide - a unique new approach to Visitor Information and Tourism marketing that is now set for rapid expansion across the UK. iVisitorGuide is a specialist in the provision of Visitor Information services to Regional Tourist Boards, Tourism Providers and Consumers. Our services are used by DMOs, hotels, visitor attractions and restaurants and we are frequently called upon to speak at industry seminars. The owner Martyn Collins previously worked as Head of Network Sales for Eviivo, helping to grow their superb Frontdesk online booking technology and prior to that he was Sales & Marketing Director for Mando Group – a leading UK web development and design agency. His sales training was with technology companies ICL and Sherwood Computer Systems. In the nineties Martyn owned his own pub/restaurant and ran a sailing holiday business in Spain so has a real understanding of the tourism sector based on personal experience. His first jobs though were as a trainee Commercial Artist whilst working as a hotel kitchen porter in the evening. These early experiences set Martyn on a career path that never veered too far from this unique combination of hospitality, technology and marketing. His goal is to provide visitor information to the millions of online consumers looking for ideas on where to stay, things to do, places to eat and what's on via a national network of Tourism Providers. The iVisitorGuide service decreases DMO costs, improves Tourism Provider competitiveness and helps Consumers with their travel planning. Martyn is actively seeking industry partners looking to create a niche in the UK travel & tourism sectors and new business development opportunities.
