This site is dedicated to help raise funds for special needs children to acquire iPads & Apps to assist in their development & to review Apps relevant for their use. This technology can benefit these children beyond measure. iPads (tablets) are changing the way special needs children interact with the world they live in. They are making developmental progress they could only dream of in the past. It is also a much more affordable solution than many of the asistive devices that are currently being used. However, many families cannot afford to purchase this technology for their children. If they need federal assistance to help purchase them they to wait until their children are half grown to get to the top of the list for the help they need. Life skills and special needs departments in schools are also having a hard time getting the funds to purchase these tools for their classrooms. We believe the faster this technology gets into the hands of these children, the faster they can start learning and experiencing the world. We want to offer advice to raise funds and offer fundraising campaigns for families, their supporters, and their schools to raise the money needed to purchase this technology for their children. We do not ask for cash donations. Here are a few ways to support getting technology for these children: 1. Make purchases from the iHelp Marketplace or Sponsor Shop. 2. Raise funds for your child by hosting a fundraiser. Raise funds for the life skills/special needs department of your school by hosting a fundraiser. Donate an iPad or iTunes card(s). Together we can get these wonderful kids the tools they need!
