Bio

Professionally I am currently providing community engagement, social networking and digital marketing consulting to a variety of small to medium sized businesses. I provide guidance and execution around community portal solutions, social networking strategy and paid/organic search marketing. Prior to I spent 4 years at Microsoft most recently as a Community Manager for Microsoft Advertising where I managed advertiser/influencer events, emerging media production & distribution and the Microsoft adExcellence accreditation program. Father of two boys, husband to one wife. I live in the Pacifc NW, a bit north of Seattle after living most of my life as a Chicagoan. In my spare time, I enjoy amateur film making, playing baseball, gadgets and social networking all while trying to become an aspiring author as I work through writing my first book. I especially love watching my boys grow up, experiencing everything the Pacific NW gives, and a variety of other semi-exciting things. My blog is the place I go to share my life experiences (social and professional), and also attempt to write humorously about the things I find amusing.
