I have a Master's degree in Health Psycholgoy and Behavioral Medicine and am a Certified Personal Trainer and Weight Counselor as well. My academic and physical training enables me to coach and encourage people to help them define their own experience of optimum human functioning. Together my clients and I combine the scientific principles of physical and cognitive health so that we set and reach goals. My clients increase their experiences of strength, harmony and peace and decrease the power of negative experiences to rule their lives. They learn to respond to situations rather than reacting to them and they learn to choose powerful actions that will support their ultimate goals rather than opting out with ones that sabotage them. They learn to create a synergy of positive choices around their bodies, their minds and their relationships that pave the way to mental and physical health. These, in turn, lead them to an experience of wellness, which increases their social connectedness, happiness and longevity. I work with special needs clients as well as regular clients between the ages of 9 and 93 (currently my oldest client!)
