Bio

I am a business lawyer and litigator in Atlanta, GA. For litigation matters, my practice has focused in recent years on trade secret, insurance coverage, corporate and other commercial disputes. I have extensive prior experience in construction, product liability and catastrophic personal injury cases. I have represented clients in many industries, including manufacturing, machinery, energy (green and traditional), engineering, and financial institutions. I also represent clients in connection with equipment sales contracts, non-disclosure agreements, terms and conditions, and other general business matters. I have also become a registered mediator, and am available to mediate business and other cases (but I do not mediate family law matters). Many of my clients are international companies or their U.S. subsidiaries, including German, Swedish, Finnish, Irish and Canadian companies. I often counsel international companies regarding the U.S. legal system, and have given seminars on various U.S. legal topics in Germany and here in the U.S. I am rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell and 10.0 by AVVO. I was named to the list of Georgia Super Lawyers published by the Journal of Law and Politics and Atlanta Magazine in 2008 and 2009. I graduated first in my class from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1982.
