Laser Photonics is the industry leader in developing high-tech fiber and COâ‚‚ laser systems for marking, cutting and engraving applications. Laser Photonics is a division of Fonon Technology International (FTI), the world-renowned inventor and manufacturer of equipment based on Zero Width Laser Cutting Technologyâ„¢ (ZWLCTâ„¢) for semiconductor and flat panel display industries. Fonon Technology was established in 1991 by a group of high-level engineers as a result of research and development in three major worldwide patented technologies in the hi-tech industry: Zero Width Laser Cutting Technologyâ„¢ (ZWLCTâ„¢), Solid State Lappingâ„¢ (SSLâ„¢), and Quartz Laser Welding Technologyâ„¢ (QLWTâ„¢). Demitri Nikitin utilized this to acquire Laser Photonics as a manufacturer of full line commercial, industrial, laser and abrasive products. FTI, a Nevada corporation, was formed to acquire and consolidate all operations and brands. FTI holds exclusive rights to all patents and inventions and fully owns the Laser Photonics, Fonon DSS and Laser Depot brand names. FTI has also recently developed a brand to specifically target the solar panel industry; Advanced Solar Photonics.
