Personal: I grew up in the lovely community of Leicester, Massachusetts, USA. Leicester is a teensy town just outside of Worcester, MA, which is just west of Boston, MA, which is just west of the Atlantic Ocean! :) I received my BA from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA in Communication and Fine Art: Graphic Design (double major). During my junior year at Stonehill, I completed a six month study abroad programme at Goldsmiths College, University of London in London, UK (go figure). After completing my BA, I ventured back to Goldsmiths to attend an MA course in Image and Communication. I graduated in 2008 and have been living and working in the UK ever since! I currently have no plans to relocate back to Massachusetts, or even the United States. I do love and miss home, as it is an amazing place, but it always there to visit! I am most certainly planning to continue my journey living and working in London. Professional: I am currently working for Dogs Trust, the respected UK charity, in a digital marketing role. I started on the 1st of September 2009, and have been very excited to join the team. I am responsible for ongoing web design and maintenance, social and online media outreach, as well as producing and coordinating digital marketing activity, including e-marketing, advertising, design and photo/video/audio media. Working for this charity with such a wonderful team has been a very rewarding experience. My previous role was working as a Digital Consultant for Hill & Knowlton, the international PR agency, focusing on digital communication: social and online media guidance and implementation, advising and assisting clients across all sectors of the agency (corporate, consumer, health care, public affairs, etc). Other bits & bobs: Unashamed geek, avid film lover, budding culinary wizard, board game enthusiast, pop culture junkie, Oxford comma user, and all around happy-go-lucky American! Enough about me... what about you?!
