At Slack Barshinger, I serve as a senior marketing strategist working with account supervisors and creative directors across the agency. In this leadership role, I plot tactical marketing communications strategy, develop positioning and messaging, forecast multi-channel campaign performance, research and manage direct response list rentals, plan offer strategy, design lead nurture streams and analyze and report campaign results. These campaigns, including both lead generation and direct acquisition efforts, span interactive advertising, direct mail, email, telemarketing, radio, DR print advertising and SEM. Previous to this position, I worked for six years within Slack Barshinger's creative department as a copywriter and creative director. So in addition to my planning duties, I'm often brought in as a senior writer to work on concepts and copy for some of our larger campaigns and clients. Before my time at Slack Barshinger, I spent most of the 1990's as a client-side marketing manager. Over that time, I developed a specialty in the planning, development and leveraging of thought leadership content to generate and nurture qualified leads to conversion and have published and spoken on the topic thorough such forums as DM News and Chicago's DM Days. Current and past clients include: Google, International Truck & Engine, Tellabs, eBay Business, Underwriters Laboratories, Research in Motion (Blackberry), Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PACK EXPO), PayPal Merchant Services, Harris Bank, Labelexpo North America, U.S. Department of the Treasury, InfoComm Electronic Prepress & Print, Business.com, PayCycle.com, Dean Foods, Anexsys, Beverage Marketing and Corporate Express.
