Bio

I set up Inspiring Technology Solutions Ltd two years ago because my conviction was (and still is) that the whole point of cutting-edge advancement in the workplace is to make life easier for people, not drive them shrieking up the wall. I believe that simple, straightforward, plain English explanations of how, why, where, when and how, lead to smiley, calm, contented computer users as opposed to hair-tearing, wild-eyed, frustrated ones. Inspiring Technology Solutions focuses on website and database development as well as I.T. training and project management and works with a range of clients from the charity, education and commercial sectors. In two years, have earned accolades and built a reputation amongst grateful clients who have seen my methods produce immediate benefits for their bottom line. Prior to starting the business, I spent twelve years in the IT industry in a variety of development and management roles. I have since taken all my practical experience and combined that with well-developed communication skills. I prefer not to baffle people with techie terms but to make life as straightforward as possible, and it's this which has made the business what it is today. I am passionate about making a difference in the world and as such spent 2 years in South Africa as a volunteer through VSO (Voluntary Services Overseas), using my skills to benefit charities. It was an amazing experience and have uploaded some photo's from my time there. I am still involved with VSO as a voluntary selector. I am interested in finding out how I can support South Africa again using technology and if there is anybody already doing projects there I would love to know how I can support you.
