MEN CAN STOP RAPE, Inc. (MCSR) is an internationally recognized nonprofit that provides programming and messaging designed to engage male teens to prevent violence against women. Leading the field of primary prevention of men's violence against women since 1997, MCSR's innovative approach encourages males to explore the connections between traditional masculinity and men's violence against women, define their own nonviolent compassionate vision of manhood, and create healthy equitable relationships with both women and men. Named by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation as one of the "world's most innovative domestic violence prevention programs," Men Can Stop Rape has worked with high schools, colleges, government agencies, and service providers all over the globe. Men Can Stop Rape provides three (3) services: - Men of Strength Club youth development program for middle school and high school male teens - Public Education Messaging - Trainings & Technical Assistance for professionals and student leaders of men's campus groups. On April 14-15, 2009 Men Can Stop Rape hosted its first National Conference on the Primary Prevention of Men's Violence Against Women - "Men and Women as Allies" – at the Hyatt Regency Washington-Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
