The blog http://molokainews.wordpress.com is a product of David Lichtenstein, news director for KMKK-FM radio on Molokai and former editor of The Molokai Times (a wonderful newspaper that was a victim of the faltering economy). Molokainews is updated five days a week, Monday-Friday, with news of Molokai. These are generally rewrites of news reports aired on Radio Imua, KMKK 102.3 FM in Kaunakakai, KHEI 107.5 FM in Kehei, Maui and 104.7 FM in Central Oahu.However, I do publish more extended stories and in-depth news analysis on Molokai issues that deserve more space (water, biotechnology, sustainability and special events).
