The largest science center in the southeast and home to the only IMAX® Dome Theatre in Florida, MOSI is dedicated to advancing public interest, knowledge, and understanding of science, industry, and technology. For the first time in Florida, MOSI proudly debuts Dr. Gunther von Hagens' BODY WORLDS & The Story of the Heart opening January 22, 2009. Featuring a unique collection of more than 200 authentic human specimens including whole-body plastinates, organs and translucent body slices, this exhibit offers visitors profound insights into the human body, health and disease, and the intricate world of the cardiovascular system. MOSI is located in north Tampa at 4801 E. Fowler Ave., across from the USF Sun Dome, and just one mile from Busch Gardens.
