Missionary. Church planter in Thailand with OMF-International. Ph.D in Missiology from Utrecht University, thesis on conversion church growth in Thailand. Regional leader for Isaan of OMF-Thailand. Homeschooling my children. Blogging in English on www.omfisaan.org and more frequently in Dutch on www.vissers.me. Reformed theologian. Pioneer and trail-blazer. Evangelizing the unreached. Missiologist. Founder of Gave foundation in The Netherlands, mission among refugees and asylum seekers. In that capacity, experience in Muslim evangelism, and training and equipping Christians in local churches for ministry. Ordained missions pastor in the Dutch Reformed Church. Occasional contributor to EMQ, Evangelical Missions Quarterly. Planted a church in a lower class neighbourhood in Bangkok, Thailand. Now living in Khon Kaen province, where I planted another church in a previously unchurched district. Now teamleader of 15 church planters. Mobilizing new missionaries to reach the 20 million Isaan, among whom only 0.1% are Protestant Christians. Enjoys life in the rice fields of Isaan. Love to do itinerant evangelism in unreached districts. Love to mentor new Christians for evangelism.
