On The Go Chicago is a blog about a Chicago mom who loves being on the go. I am a mom of two young girls, and am always looking for fun things to do with my kids in the city. Chicago has so much to offer moms who like to be out and about, and I have made it my mission to take advantage of all the kid friendly activities the city has to offer! That and, sitting in my basement with two kids under two can make a girl go mad! I moved to Chicago five years ago from Hermosa Beach, CA. Quite the culture shock at first, but I quickly discovered that I am a CITY girl at heart. I love to tease my husband that I traded in my view of the ocean for a view of the dry cleaner. I did not even own a proper coat before I moved here, but can proudly say I have a closet full now! I loved the city before we started a family, but I love it even more as a mom. There is always something to do in Chicago, and lots of moms to do it with. From walking around the Farmer's Market to free kids concerts in my neighborhood park, I seem to always be packing up the diaper bag and hitting the streets.
