Paul Chaney, the Social Media Handyman, has a backgrond in Internet marketing that spans more than a decade. Paul currently serves as Internet marketing director for Bizzuka, Louisiana's leading Web design design and development company based in Lafayette, LA, where he is charged with incorporating new media marketing strategies and techniques into the marketing mix. He is also president of the International Blogging and New Media Association (IBNMA) and sits on the advisory boards for the Womens Wisdom Network, Social Media Marketing Institute and SmartBrief on Social Media. Paul is author of the soon to be released book The Digital Handshake: Seven Proven Strategies to Grow Your Business Using Social Media, published by Wiley. In 2006, he co-authored Realty Blogging: Build your Brand and Outsmart Your Competition, which similarly impacted the industry and which was the first blogging book to target a specific industry vertical. Paul has been a feature writer for Practical Ecommerce magazine on the use of social media for marketing purposes.
