Bio

I work with small and medium-sized businesses on on-line and off-line marketing strategies, increasing their visibility, brand positioning, publicity and social media. I am a contributing author to IGI Publishing's upcoming release, "Social Media & E-Business Transformation," and I am working on my first book, which will be released in late 2011. I have over 20 years' experience in the fields of sales, networking and marketing research. I am the founder and publisher of Entrepreneur & Self-Employed Business Journal, a magazine that offers daily headlines on the topics that affect today's business owners. I am the wife of an incredible man, and the mommy of three spoiled rotten Yorkshire Terriers. I enjoy an eclectic variety of music, watching classic movies, and cheering for the Detroit Red Wings. My husband is slowly but surely turning me into a science fiction lover, but I'll never admit it. Speaking of my husband, he would no doubt tell you that I am a cross between Lucille Ball and Martha Stewart. I'm a former 80s preppy, and I maintain that penny loafers will never go out of style. In fact, I still cringe every time I hear my favorite 80s music referred to as "classic." I'm a sucker for crazy socks. I've got an office supply addiction, as well as a techno-gadget habit, and I am a recovering font junkie. I love great design and color, and I find inspiration everywhere. I don't go anywhere without a notepad -- you just never know where creativity will find you. I love a good book, gourmet food, and fine wine -- but not necessarily in that order.
