Born in Washington D.C. and living in the UK, an award-winning poet and fiction writer. Poetry has been broadcast on BBC radio and television, and featured in anthologies published by Faber, Virago & Seren. Short fiction has been published by Bloomsbury & Serpents Tail. Two collections of poetry with established UK poetry specialist Anvil, "How Things Are On Thursday" (2004)and "Material" (Anvil, 2008) which received a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. Research on Marlowe biography and the Shakespeare authorship question has been presented at Goldsmiths Literature Seminars, the symposium Filming & Performing Renaissance History (Queens University Belfast), the Marlowe Society of American International Conference and at Brunel University (on the MA in Shakespeare Authorship Studies). Forthcoming articles on Marlowe, and on Shakespeare authorship theory, will be published this year in "Christopher Marlowe The Craftsman" (Ashgate), and in the journals "Rethinking History" and "Critical Survey". I live with my husband and four children in Brighton, within sound of the sea.
