Bio

I created “Savings Scoop” because I’m worried about our economy and I really don’t know what our financial future holds. I’m worried because I know a few people who have lost their jobs and are struggling to survive because they didn’t save money or prepare for the unexpected. So I’m going to take a new approach on how I deal with money. My goal is to teach myself and share with other people struggling in this economy different ways to save money. Am I an expert when it comes to saving? Not yet! I’m one of those people who take the time to cut coupons out of the paper but forget to bring them with me. My mission is to take control of my finances through clipping coupons, looking for freebies, exploring money-saving ideas, tips, tricks, and researching career alternatives. Whenever I find out about deals, sales, discounts, or anything that I may be able to save a few dollars on I’ll write about the information. Every week you will find information on Savings Scoop that will help to save money whether it’s tips about living frugally, generating extra money, or just a little motivation to get started on any changes you want to make in life. I’m up for the challenge of saving money whenever and wherever. So if you are up for the journey hopefully I can inspire a few people along the way to SAVE!
