Born and raised in the St Louis, MO area. Went to Mizzou and U of I. City planner, architect, businessman, web developer. Move to Austin, Texas in early 80s and first tech job was with BPI Systems, first software company in the world to go public. Sold nearly 1,000 computer systems to Sematech, the international semiconductor consortium and became manager of tech support.
