teleSUR is an informative, up to the minute, news station. Launched in 2005 and 100% Latin American, teleSUR is a pioneer in comunications in the Americas and worldwide, broadcasting 24-hour news and developments from the Southern Hemisphere. teleSUR is cross-border and cross-cultural, with independents offices in Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Venezuela. It´s the first news and information television station ever that transmits to the world the rich cultural diversity in Latina-America. teleSUR offers viewers programs with innovative news, original documentaries, vibrant talk shows and profound analysis, all produced in Latin America. These programs foster democratization of content and diversity in information. Our goal is to inspire critical, informed citizens to participate in pioneering social processes. teleSUR has 11 international bureaus in Latin Amercia and the United States: Bogota, Brasilia, Buenos Aires, Caracas, Mexico City, Havana, La Paz, Lima, Managua, Quito and Washington. We also have a network of 12 correspondents around the world: Asuncion, Cali, Guatemala City, London, Madrid, Montevideo, New York, Santiago de Chile, San Jose de Costa Rica, San Salvador, Port-au-Prince and Tegucigalpa.
