CPA to be, CFI, CFII, MEI.
My name is Bryan Risley and I am an airline pilot with Trans States Airlines based in St. Louis, MO. I fly the EMB-145 regional jet as a first officer. I am building time like there is no tomorrow, amassing between 80 - 90 hours of flight time per month.
Additionally, I am a CFI, CFII, and MEI and am always available for freelance flight instruction. I really do enjoy sharing aviation with others. In my job as an airline pilot, I do miss that aspect of aviation. In the airline business you need ATC and/or company approval to scratch your ass. That fun, "whatever", kind of flying holds a special place in my heart.
My other hobby is Jeeping. I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler Sahara that is my pride and joy. I am a little different than most Jeepers in that I don't really offroad - like ever. But, it isn't much different really than a guy owning a BMW roadster and not racing it. I just get a kick out of the simplicity of the machine, the ease of doing your own work, the availability of parts (mostly in the after market realm), and the general following that they have.
