Bio

My name is Andy Wilson and I am currently working on a project called "Follow the Seasons". I have set up a website and it is devoted to advice on self sufficiency and seasonal food. I have worked in food retail all my life and feel now that I want to share my experience of food and my journey towards self sufficiency with others. I am here to offer practical advice to anyone who feels they could benefit from a helping hand, and wil soon be offering a "mentoring" service for people who do not have the time or a lot of space to grow their own food. You really will be surprised at how many different ways there is to grow your own and then cook your own! I have a real passion for food and other environmental issues so join me and lets start eating seasonally! As i write this I can smell the jams we have been making this weekend. We have elderberry, damson and blackberry jams all freshly made from the bushes around our allotment. They will go nice with the home made bread we are making. I currently work full time so my time is limited too. I am hoping to break away from work and concentrate on this full time, and look forward to meeting like-minded people who are serious about food but also like to have fun with their food.
